Since the early 2010s, Birgy has remained a mainstay in the avant-pop world-often preceding and outlasting many of her peers. From the very first rain of synthesizers on “Cactus People,” it’s clear that bandleader Erin Birgy has crafted something of a masterpiece. The latest Mega Bog album- End of Everything-is a triumph in more ways than I can count.
